With draglines, the fishing boats basically sweeped the bottom of the sea to try and find something. The destroyer Psilander was ordered to meet up with HMS Belos, and tow her to increase the Belos' speed as much as possible. The HMS Belos (that I've previously written about, although it was one of her earlier versions) was ordered to move to the scene of the accident at flank speed.

Based on that, they calculated where to begin the search. Huge resources were called upon in search of the Ulven, and the search got results - they found the telephone-buoy (basically, her means of communication) with a ripped wire floating at sea. It grew closer, what everybody feared the most: the fact that something had happened to the submarine. Day turned into night, still without any sign of life. A couple of hours passed, and she still hadn't appeared again. HMS Ulven managed to get a practice shot into one of the other practicing ships, before once again submering. The task was basically to practice finding, hunting and destroying enemy submarines. And HMS Ulven continued our tradition by hitting a mine whilst on a training mission. Anyhow, as I previously stated, we have a long tradition of sinking. Onwards to new missions! (Even though we didn't really participate in the war. So yeah, there she is, in all her might and glory. Even though multiple people lost their lives in the tradgic accident that took place, I still feel like it was a misstake that could have been avoided. Much like the French, we have a strong military tradition - theirs is of surrendering, ours is of sinking! :teethhappy.

Swedish ships have a history of sinking, and the HMS Ulven is no difference. So, here goes:Īrmaments: 4x 53 cm torpedotubes (type M/26) Right? Anyhow, I put "Submarine" in the topic, so you knew what you were starting to read. Yes, I know no submarines will take place in the released game - but this forum is all about information, and one or two submarines for diversity can't hurt.
